This cacao paste is made from pure, high-quality cacao beans,  nothing added. Lightly roasted to preserve its natural character and stone-ground in small batches, it represents cacao in its most authentic form.
 
The beans are sourced from Agua Escondida in Comalcalco, Tabasco, Mexico, a social enterprise working with over 100 smallholder farmers dedicated to sustainable cacao cultivation and traditional post-harvest practices.
 
Carefully fermented and centrally processed for consistency and traceability, this cacao develops a rich and comforting flavour profile. Expect notes of roasted pecan, red fruits, molasses, and deep cacao tones, balanced by a smooth and rounded finish. Warm, indulgent, and full of character,  a distinctive expression of Mexican fine flavour cacao.
