Meet Sol
Hey, I´m Sol, the heart behind Kura Cacao.

Since 2017, I’ve been working closely with cacao — learning from the plant, crafting it with care, and sharing its gifts with others. Kura Cacao was born from a deep love for this beautiful plant and a desire to share something truly personal: cacao paste that reflects craft, love, and intention.
​
As my connection with cacao deepened, so did my insight into cacao’s complexity as a nutrient-rich superfood and traditional plant medicine, revered for centuries. This inspired me to start my own small-scale production — where each step, from sourcing to roasting and grinding, is done with respect for the bean’s natural qualities and flavor.

I carefully select only the finest organic, single-origin cacao beans and process them in a way that preserves their full character and vitality. My goal is to offer cacao that feels alive — not just in taste, but in spirit.
In addition to my own handcrafted cacao paste, I also curate products from fellow artisans who share the same dedication to quality, sustainability, and intention. This allows me to bring you a broader range of premium cacao experiences — all made with care, and rooted in integrity.

At the heart of our cacao offerings lies our own production, crafted from the exceptional Arriba Nacional beans sourced directly from Hacienda Victoria—a renowned single-estate farm nestled in the lush hills of Cerecita, near Ecuador's Pacific coast . This farm is dedicated to preserving the rare and prized Nacional Arriba cacao variety, known for its fine aroma and floral notes.
Hacienda Victoria employs meticulous cultivation practices, from seed selection to post-harvest processes, ensuring consistency in flavor and quality. Their artisanal fermentation techniques allow for the development of unique flavor profiles, ranging from nutty and balanced with low acidity to floral and robust . This attention to detail results in cacao that is both rich in taste and ethically produced.

At kuracacao, we carefully roast and stone-grind these beans into 100% pure cacao paste, preserving their full spectrum of nutrients and natural compounds. The result is a smooth-textured, bold-flavored cacao, suitable for both intentional and ritual use.
