Cacao entered my life during a period of transition — a time when I was redefining who I was as a mother and a creator. What began as a simple personal ritual slowly grew into a meaningful relationship with the plant, its history and its depth.

After several years facilitating gatherings and shared cacao sessions, my curiosity naturally expanded beyond ritual into the craft itself — the beans, the origins, fermentation, roasting and sensory evaluation, and the many ways the plant is transformed throughout the process. In November 2025, I completed Level 2 Cacao Taster training with the International Institute of Cacao Tasters (IICT), deepening my understanding of cacao’s flavour profiles and complexity.

Kura Cacao is the expression of that evolution — a union of intention, artisanship and respect for cacao’s lineage.

At Kura Cacao, I honour cacao as both a sacred plant and a craft ingredient. Every cacao paste I offer — whether handcrafted in my small batches or curated from trusted origins — carries intention, quality and authenticity.

My single-origin cacao is sourced through partners who collaborate closely with farmers and artisan producers in Guatemala, Ecuador, Mexico, Indonesia and beyond. I choose suppliers who value transparency, fair practices and high-quality fermentation and drying methods that respect the true character of the bean.

I select cacao based on:
• its flavour, aroma and sensory depth
• ethical and responsible sourcing practices
• partners who prioritise quality and respect for origin
• transparency and integrity throughout the supply chain

Handcrafted
Each week, I produce a limited amount of artisanal cacao paste — roasted, ground and blended in small batches.
This process is slow, intentional and respects the bean origin.
My Signature Blends are handcrafted combinations of origins, created to highlight unique notes and flavor profiles
