At Kuracacao, we believe every cacao has a story to tell.

We bring together distinctive cacaos from different origins, each shaped by its growing environment, variety, traditions and the people connected to its cultivation.

Our collection celebrates the diversity of cacao through its aromas, flavours and textures, from bright and fruity notes to rich chocolate, delicate florals and natural sweetness.

Some of our cacao is sourced as beans and roasted and ground in Portugal, while other origins reach us as finished cacao paste from specialist suppliers. Each is selected for its distinctive character and the experience it offers.

Return & Refund Policy

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a product quality issue, please contact us at sol@kuracacao.com, including your order number and photos where possible. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate solution in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Due to the nature of our food products, returns are subject to conditions relating to food safety, product integrity and hygiene. The right to withdraw from an online purchase depends on applicable law and any relevant statutory exceptions. Where a legal exception applies, change-of-mind returns may not be accepted.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 2–3 working days.

Parcels are generally dispatched via DPD on Mondays and Thursdays.

Shipping Outside Portugal

For deliveries outside Portugal, please contact us at sol@kuracacao.com before placing your order to confirm available shipping options and costs.

DPD Tracking & Delivery

Once your order has been dispatched, DPD will generally send tracking information and delivery updates by email or SMS. Please monitor your messages and use the tracking link to follow your parcel and check the expected delivery date.

DPD Pickup Points

You may choose a DPD Pickup point as your delivery destination. Before placing your order, check DPD’s website to find a Pickup point convenient for you. Enter the Pickup point’s address in the shipping address fields at checkout and clearly identify it as your chosen Pickup point.

To help ensure successful delivery, please provide:

• Your full and correct address, including the door or building number.

• The correct postal code.

• A valid Portuguese mobile phone number.

Failed Deliveries & Additional Charges

If delivery fails or a parcel is returned to Kuracacao because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the recipient being unavailable, or another issue attributable to the recipient, additional shipping or redelivery charges may apply where permitted by law. We will contact you to discuss the available options.
